Our most versatile and flexible design has a large living space, a fully fitted kitchen and shower room. The mezzanine bedroom includes plenty of storage and a desk or dressing table space. It can be a small home, a holiday home, an office, a retail unit, a gallery or a pavilion.
The standard space design can easily be extended to provide a larger living space. If used as a home, this could be for a dining table, larger kitchen and bedroom or an external deck area. The length can be extended in multiples of 1.2m.
This Lifetime space incorporates a traditional staircase and has a larger living space with more storage. It is a more luxurious version of the standard space and is ideal for social housing and more elderly home owners. This option can also be extended if required.
The stone base that can be added to our Lifetime space will create a 3-storey, 3-bedroom home that is fully accessible. Two bedrooms with en-suites are typically on the ground floor with the third master bedroom on the top floor.
The 2 bed extension can be added to any design to create a 3-bedroom home that is fully accessible. It incorporates two ground floor bedrooms with a shower room. If combined with the Lifetime version, the flat roof can be used as a terrace.
The double design can be built at the outset, but also created at a later date. It has a traditional staircase, 3 bedrooms and much larger kitchen. This can also be extended in length as described above. This design can meet Code Level 6 and is Lifetime Homes compliant.
A flat-roof variation allows the building to be relocated in the future. Ideally suited as an office, retail unit or small classroom, although it’s without a separate bedroom, it could still also be a small home. The roof could be covered in sedum and PV panels.
A double flat-roof variation can either create a fully accessible one bedroom home or be opened up to form a single much larger space, ideal for an office or school classroom. For a home, a bedroom pod could make it 2 beds, and for the classroom option, we offer a toilet/cloakroom pod.
The urban design takes all the strong characteristics from our other designs, such as our familiar glazed elevation that would be at the rear to give an incredible aspect to a back garden and a more private street elevation with a proper front door (so it can be terraced).
The entrance pod provides heated cloakroom/drying space, bike and garden storage and an airtight letter box. It also gives a little extra room in the entrance area. This pod can be included from the outset or added at a later date.
The bedroom/office pod will accommodate a king-size bed, provide a spacious home office, or create an additional living room. It can be added at a later date if more space is required or as a family grows. Manufactured off-site, it is typically installed within a week.
A covered front veranda can be added with the option of a sunken hot tub (covered by decking panels when not in use). The space is ideal for outside dining and can include benches around the perimeter.
A precast concrete basement can be added to our buildings to provide additional living space or bedrooms, storage or depending on how it is set into the landscape, it could be a garage.
A flood resilient version is lighter in weight, and so the building can easily be raised above the ground on “legs”, minimising flood risk. The space below could then be used for storage or car parking. With the design being fairly low in height and symmetrical, it could also be constructed with a buoyant base, similar to a houseboat.
